2 x PMO Analysts – Financial Services – Swindon – £35,000-£45,000 per annum

Job Summary:           

Provide high quality PMO expertise to a large and varied portfolio of project in a small and busy team.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the project lifecycle (including awareness of IT and software delivery methods) and change management framework.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the management of project risk.
  • Experience of performing project assurance role (health checking, reviewing documents)
  • Ability to have good awareness of multiple projects.
  • Manage and update Project Plans (MS Project) pulling together and sense checking overall Programme (Master) Plan

Assist in the development/maturity of the project governance framework and portfolio management principles.

  • The PMO are always looking at ways to improve how we do things and provide service to our stakeholders, opportunities to increase efficiencies are encouraged.

Provide guidance and feedback to the project managers, embedding new processes, ensuring correct template and tools are used.

  • Quickly get up to speed with project governance model.
  • Confidence to challenge and discuss quality with project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic and flexible where required.

Meet regularly with project managers at key stages of the project lifecycle and perform quality checks on required governance tasks and required documentation.

  • Build relationships with project managers and key stakeholders.
  • Promote best practise and service of the PMO to our stakeholders and those operating in the project environment.
  • Confidence to challenge and discuss quality with project managers and other stakeholders.

Manage and administer a Change Board

  • Providing Agendas; Minutes & Slide Packs on a fortnightly basis
