Portfolio Manager required for an organisation that is undergoing a strategic level of business change and growth due to developing new revenues. The role sits within the solutions team that work directly with the commercial teams to provide fit for purpose solutions designs to win new business.
The main purpose of this role is to develop, monitor and maintain financial oversight of departmental, cost centre and project budgets. Support planning activities including forecasting. MI reporting to senior management will be required along with monitoring governance. Taking care of resource management and maintaining stakeholder relationships across the business are vital.
The role would suit someone who has formal experience in a project management environment and has worked with stakeholders up to C-Level.
Organisational skills will be key skills with any of the below methodologies and applications would be a bonus:
Agile, waterfall, Planview, Microsoft Project, Salesforce, SharePoint, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint.
Furthermore, a qualification is Prince 2, MSP, PMP or APMP would also be advantageous.
