Project Manager – Swindon – £50,000-60,000 + benefits 

Project Manager required for a well established financial services company based in Swindon.

Purpose

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals

Main Accountabilities

  • lead the planning and implementation of project
  • facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • define project tasks and resource requirements
  • manage project budget and resource
  • plan and schedule project timelines
  • track project deliverables
  • provide direction and support to project team
  • quality assurance
  • constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all    stakeholders
  • present reports defining project progress, risks, problems and solutions
  • implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables
  • project evaluations and assessment of results

Performance Indicators

  • Delivery of projects to meet agreed time, cost and quality targets
  • Workable, fit for purpose solutions adopted by the business
  • Positive feedback from peers, key stakeholders and 3rd parties to demonstrate trust in capabilities

Relationships

  • Strong relationships with the Support Centre and Sales functions
  • Ability to work confidently with sponsors and stakeholders at all levels within the organisation
  • Work well with colleagues and external suppliers to ensure delivery of solutions in-line with standards

Education and Experience

  • 5yrs plus working as a Project Manager
  • qualification in project management (e.g. APM/PMP/PRINCE2)
  • knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • proven experience in full project lifecycle management
