We are all familar with Google and probably uses the phrase ‘Google it’ a fair few times a day.

However, Google Chrome have launched a new default blocker. This works by ‘launching a filter in the Chrome browser to punish sites for excessive use of the most irritating ads.’

Now do not get too excited, you will still see ads, but Chrome will be removing ads from any websites that do not meet the standards which have been ‘laid out by the Coalition for Better Ads, of which Google is a founding member and has a seat on the board.’

”The setting is on by default but it is possible to opt-out.’

‘The move stems from the Coalition for Better Ads (CBA), whose members include major advertising sellers such as Unilever, tech giants Google and Facebook and major news publishers such as News Corp.’

We all know how annoying ad’s can be.
