Senior Solution Architect – Rickmansworth – Permanent
Our client in Rickmansworth are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join their team.
Your job will include:
Integrating solution architectures for a variety of programmes of work meeting current and future business needs and aligning product roadmaps with the IT strategy. The role sits within a new business area that is using up to date, transactional data to create solution that will enable clients to make better informed solutions and even prevents financial fraud. One of the first projects you will be involved in will be to work on the technology strategy and help choose which technologies to integrate into the company. The position will sit within the wider architecture community and one of the challenges will be to become the subject matter expert on data/data analytics for the department.
Who would be successful in this role?
Architects who would like to bring together multiple parts of the business including application, infrastructure and data requirements into a single view for the data analytics and data insight products. You will be able to provide data architecture expertise and set standards across the team whilst managing stakeholders expectations. In addition, this role will need customer facing skills to help answer queries and develop solutions that fit clients requirements.
Your ideal skills and attributes:
Experience in data warehousing and data analytics solutions with knowledge of working with large data sets with an Oracle environment and understanding the development lifecycle and solutions design.
Nice to haves:
Data analytics tools such as teradata, Oracle R, Python and Neo4J, financial services/banking/consultancy or software vendor backgrounds, agile and any experience of architecture frameworks such as Togaf, Zachman and PEAF.
