Software Project Manager – City of London – Permanent – £50-70k + benefits


Our client in London are looking for a Software Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.


What you will be involved in:
The role is a lead role within a team of seasoned software developers and analysts who will develop and configure the companies financial software solutions. The team is split up across different continents due to the company having offices in major global cities such as London, New York, Singapore and Buenos Aires. On a daily basis you will be tasked with managing the team to deliver multiple software projects and ensuring the level of quality is met across the team.


About you:
You will be working closely with the Head of Product to help implement the development pipeline and the software development lifecycle. Driving improvements in technical and process best practices you will helping the company to deliver their solution to clients on time and within budget. Other members of the team you will be working with will be Project Managers who focus on client implementations and consulting team to help deliver back-end support to ongoing implementations and existing clients. If all this is done will you will help the company improve and speed up their delivery ensuring their clients will keep coming back to use the financial software solution.


Your skills:
Ideally, you will have come from a hands on software development background working with the Microsoft stack (ASP, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server) This role would suit you if you are already a software project managed or a team lead/ senior developer looking to move into a PM role. You will have worked in an agile delivery model and delivered projects on time and within budget. The role will be a 80:20 split between project management and hands on development.


Any language skills in Spanish would be a bonus.


A bit about them:
The company are data research company for the financial services sector who are privately owned and have achieved growth of around 25% year on year. They have a large market share and plan to improve on this still. They do not have a vast layers of management meaning you will work directly with senior level stakeholders within an office complex that offers a swimming pool and gym.
