Xref was founded in 2009 by leading recruitment specialists. They understood that the present methods used to collect pre-employment references was fraught with risk. All too often employers were found taking references without the candidate’s consent, asking discriminatory questions and not recording details correctly. In addition candidate’s fraudulent referees were costing companies time and money through misinformed recruitment decisions. The xref team set out to reduce fraudulent references, encourage unbiased feedback, eliminate discrimination and protect personal privacy at the same time as adding a level of automation and data management.
As part of the ITR process we offer this additional service to all customers helping them to focus on their day to day role rather than chasing references directly.
