We pride ourselves on our well established graduate training programme, providing full training, mentoring, and promotion opportunities to our new recruits. While prior knowledge of B2B sales is preferred, it is not essential – however, applicants must demonstrate a competitive nature, a desire to succeed, and the ability to work to their own initiative.
Recruitment roles are focused on new business development, with consultants required to build their own desk around a specific vertical market in the IT industry. These roles are primarily phone based, though all consultants are encouraged to develop client relationships on a face to face basis.
Developing on from a trainee consultant to a full 360 recruiter is not easy but ITR provide the training and support to make sure people can achieve this in their own time. A Senior Consultant is not a title earned simply by being with ITR for a certain amount of time. Senior Consultants show a continued ability to complete all aspects of the role at the highest levels. Our Senior Consultants are responsible for developing new clients, account management and client delivery. Our Principal Consultants have “broad shoulders” and a real desire to make a difference to ITR. Principal consultants have the responsibility of developing new clients, managing large scale accounts and client delivery in addition to mentoring members of the team. A Principal Consultant will work closely with individuals to develop their skills and improve their abilities. Principle Lead Consultants have proven their ability to mentor a small group/team as a Principal Consultant and achieve success as a delivery team. At this stage they now take further responsibility for a larger number of consultants becoming involved in initial selection and training of members to join their team. While developing their own team it is expected that their billing levels remain at an aspirational level, leading by example.
