Pixel 4

With a video of the phone being released, does this mean nearly all the specs and features of the new Google device have been revealed? Less than 3 weeks to wait for the Pixel 4 with the release date 15th October. Leaks suggest it’ll be the biggest upgrade to the flagship range of phones.

Improvements

One of the biggest improvements and something that has been a focus for a lot of new phones being released is the camera. Both the front and rear cameras will have considerable upgrades.

AnhEm TV has posted a complete tour of the phone on his YouTube channel. Showing complex sensors on the front camera, meaning it allows the phone to have the same facial recognition as the iPhone. Also, the review shows a dual-lens on the rear.

Leaks

In the leaked promo it shows off the camera ability to capture clear images of the night sky, as well as gesture-based controls.

First appearing on the Spanish site ProAndroid, giving an understanding on how the astrophotography feature will work. Coming with the tagline “You even get the stars”. Google took an unconventional approach and published images of the device to try to minimize leaks. “Well, since there seems to be some interest, here you go!” the company tweeted in June. “Wait ’til you can see what it can do.” Confirming key features including the dual camera.

Specs

It also confirmed there will be no fingerprint sensor. Even though Google’s unconventional approach was to stop leaks of the device, almost all the phone’s specs appear to be known. Some of these specs include napdragon 855 processors, 6 GB of RAM and an improved battery compared to previous devices.

The phone will come in two different sizes a standard 5.7 inch and an additional 6.3 inch called the pixel 4 XL. The devices will be revealed on 9th October, with a released date of 18th October.
